Presentation of LIFE ATIAS project in Hunting exhibition 2022

Participation of the Hunting Federation of Macedonia – Thrace in the exhibition Hunting 2022, at the booth of the Region of Western Macedonia.

Emphasis was placed on presenting the LIFE Life ATIAS project to tackle invasive species in Western Macedonia and elsewhere, as well as actions by the Federation to establish a Shooting Range and Training Center (Interreg project) as well as the educational material for training young hunters, while two recommendations were made on the use of digital media in hunter education.

The booth was visited by hunters and representatives of entities, Ann. The Minister of the Environment, Mr. Amyras, the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Mr. Oikonomou, the former Minister of the Environment Mr. Famellos, the Coordinator of Epirus and the West. Macedonia and Mr. Michelakis as well as many Presidents and representatives of Hunting Associations.
